I know that everyone struggles! I know that everyone has something heavy on their hearts! Everyone experiences “Friday” sometimes. But never lose sight that Sunday’s a-coming! Do you get stuck in Good Friday moments? Remember we are Easter Resurrection people, filled with hope and forgiven. Time to remember that Sunday’s a-coming!

Blessings everyone! –

I would like to welcome Joanne Sauro to our ever expanding network of the Montreal & surrounding area of youth leaders. She is supporting the youth at the Italian United Church. Please feel free to let me know if there are others to be added to this list.

Sadly we had to postpone the Montreal Youth Forum until the Fall. There were only 8 registrations at the deadline on Monday. Unfortunately we received over 20 other confirmations yesterday & today past the deadline. It would be awesome if you would like to be involved in the planning of the next event so we can find a date suitable for as many of your groups as possible. Please let me know as soon as you can.

Please mark your calendars for the many upcoming events & opportunities to gather as a faith community & share the great message of Jesus Christ.

April 20 & 21st The other 99% of living space on the planet THESEA!! 1 1/2 day Workshop to explore, reflect, encourage and advocate our call to live faithfully in relationship with our oceans and their inhabitants “We have been land and air centric in our concerns for the Climate change crisis. We have ignored, at our peril, the Sea – the key life support and regulator of equilibrium for all life on the planet. Alanna Mitchell engages us in a fundamental paradigm shift in our understanding of the threat to and the future of the planet.” The JGER group of Montreal Presbytery will be funding part of the cost of this workshop from $50 to $20for our youth & leaders. Please contact Lisa ASAP for details & see attached flyer.

Leaping Supper

A couple of people thought it would be a good idea to get together for an evening of laughter and have supper together. So about 25 people are going out for supper Wednesday night. I believe it is important for a church community to play and pray together. What do you think?
